Every person is different, but usually I would tend towards Piano Adventurers to develop rhythms and the student-teacher relationship using their duets, A Dozen a Day to develop technique, and Classics to Moderns to find fun pieces.
Then once we’re past the beginner stages, I choose personalised pieces tailored to each student’s personality, strengths, and weaknesses.
Yes, I have a handful of students I teach online. However, my preference is for in person lessons as I have 2 pianos in my home meaning that lessons can be more effective.
I have accompanied singers and most orchestral instruments up to grade 8 standard in exams and competitions. Please contact me to see if I am available on your dates, I would love to accompany you.
I charge the standard rate of 25 euros per half hour rehearsal, and then 50 euros for the day of the exam. Usually we would have two rehearsals before the exam.
If your repertoire is more difficult and will take me some extra time to perfect, I may charge a little bit extra.
My favorite! I am available to play Bb clarinet, alto saxophone, and keyboard for pit orchestras. Please contact me about any opportunities, I will gladly make time for musicals!
I am available for one off lessons to help with the Junior/Leaving Certificate music practical exam. These lessons focus specifically on how best to perform to achieve the highest grade possible.
I am also available to accompany music practical exams. If there are a group of students from the same school looking for accompaniments on the same day, I offer a significant discount.
